"TOBY" UNIT |
The TOBY is our compact processing system. This unit is ideal for a person who doesn't want to spend a lot of money and needs to make a few gallons of clean fuel to operate a single vehicle or small tractor. The TOBY is more of a hands-on unit and can produce up to 48 gallons a day and it utilizes 2 filters, 1-10 micron screen filter and 1-1 micron poly cartridge filter. These filters are both washable and the 10 micron screen filter needs cleaned every 100 gallons and the poly filter needs cleaned every 500 gallons. The estimated life of this unit is between 10,000 and 15,000 gallons based on the filtration pod. This system is equipped with a 12 volt pump which makes it a mobile unit; simply fill the unit up, place it in the back of your car or truck, and attach it to your car's battery when you need a fill up. The dual-pole polymer filtration pods that we use are the backbone behind our systems. They are responsible for removing acids that are found in used petro based oils, and they also remove water, antifreeze,and paraffin. Our military has been using systems very similar to ours since the early 40's and they are still in use today. The filtration pods are a must have when converting used petro based oils into fuel. The life span of our systems is solely based upon the life span of the filtration pod. The TOBY includes: -16 gallon poly tank -1-10 micron stainless steel screen -1-1micron poly cartridge with housing -1 trigger fuel gun -1 dual-pole polymer filtration pod -1-12 volt pump with leads and on/off switch -3/8" fuel hose -Complete instruction manual and set up instructions Operation: -add waste oil and diesel fuel in tank -stir with supplied shaft 5-10 seconds -connect the pump's leads to a 12 volt source -turn the fuel trigger on -switch the pump on and catch the fuel out of the trigger gun by either having the trigger in your vehicle's fuel tank or in a secondary holding container such as a gas can.
